What do I need to do to sign my student up?
Please see our “Admissions” tab for more information.
What kind of tutoring do you provide?
We provide after-school tutoring. Please see our ”Services” tab to learn more.
Can I schedule a school visit?
Yes! We encourage all families to tour our campus and meet with the Program Director. Click on the “Schedule a Tour” button or email/ call for an appointment.
Where can I find the tutoring calendar?
What ages or grade level do you help?
Tutoring and Intervention is available for anyone needing help. Our students range between Kindergarten through adulthood. The summer program is designed for students entering 2nd through 12th grade. Most students are 3rd to 8th grade.
What are your hours for tutoring?
We have sessions at 3:00, 4:00, and 5:00 for tutoring on Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday. You may also elect to attend all 4 days. We have limited availability in the school time hours for homeschooled or distance learning students.
Can my child attend once per week?
No, our sessions are scheduled 2 or 4 days per week on M/W or T/Th. Twice per week is required because we work to mastery. Mastery is needed to ensure your child retains and applies what they are learning outside of the tutoring center. If your tutor is available on Fridays, we may be able to accommodate 3 or 5 days per week to expedite learning.
Can I sign up for more than one subject?
Yes! We will do our best to create a schedule that works for you and your student.
Do you help with homework?
No, we are not a homework center. We provide specific evidence-based remediation to help students overcome their reading, writing and math difficulties. In math and writing, it may be possible to help the student apply what they are learning with us to their assignments but we do not specifically help complete math worksheets or essay compositions outside of our assignments.
How long will my child be in tutoring?
That’s hard to say but in general, most students coming 2 times per week, will be coming for 2+ years for reading remediation. Math and Writing may be less as those subjects are more subjective on the grade level requirements and may be a “pick and choose” approach to tutoring.
Do you offer tutoring in the summer?
Yes! We have limited tutoring spots available in June, July and August. However, we encourage you to sign up for our summer program to maximize growth but still allow for a “break” during the summer time. We do our absolute best to schedule your student with their current tutor to keep the learning and the relationship strong.
What happens if my student is not suited for their tutor?
All of our tutors are especially talented in teaching struggling learners. They are kind, patient and supportive, however, there are times when personalities don’t align. If this happens, we do everything we can to find the “right” tutor for your child so that learning is fun and engaging and not a burden.
